Jagdhofkeller in Darmstadt

Incredibly overpriced food. 60 euros for a small appetizer plate ?! Other than the pies and the quiche Lorraine (which most likely came from the freezer), the food wasn't even really French.

Wonderful and magical. Simply magical for many occasions. No matter whether jazz, theater or magic battle, here it goes.

We are especially fond of “pack singing”. Nice atmosphere in nice basement. When it is full it is sometimes very stuffy.

Great atmosphere for outdoor programs of the jazz institute. It is worthwhile to attend an event early, as the Bessungers are happy to come here.

Good German beer and food stuff. Specially good Flammkuchen! There's a patio and tables outside in front of the restaurant. There is only one waitress who is very friendly, the rest of the staff is always kind of rude... Price is averaged!

Very hospitable

We were in the Jagdhof cellar for a wedding. The food was delicious, the location nicely decorated and much more important is the owners very nice. They even held a speech tailored to the bride and groom.

It's been 10 months since I submitted a negative review here. I have just deleted them, since the acute displeasure has now vanished. The birthday party was then agreed with a handshake (not only on the phone). Written would have been better in this case. The fact that we were left by the Jagdhofkeller in the rain at short notice had a good effect afterwards, so I do not quarrel any more: we had a great party in the Wasserturm Darmstadt, a location that is certainly not cheap, but very original. Originally the Jagdhofkeller is also and in the attached restaurant Belleville you can eat well.

Delicious vegan burgers!

Great ambience in Darmstadt. Highly recommended is the whiskey tasting with haggis, lamb and a good selection of whiskeys from all over the world. And to top it off, Irish folk music by the owner and his band.

Very nice place to enjoy some music and have some drinks

The owners Marianne and Klaus have come up with something nice for the French national holiday on July 14th. Humor, music and a good mood. We look forward to the next visit.
